My research trajectory has been built up via interdisciplinary education and practices. By navigating through psychology and anthropology, I have been focused on education and higher education policy in Cuba, affirmative actions in Brazil, teacher training in Latin American contexts, human development and gender, learning communities and psychologist training in Cuba.
I have engaged with teaching for over twenty years in universities in Cuba, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Spain and Mexico, which includes undergraduate (psychology and anthropology) and postgraduate (education) levels and both face-to-face and online modalities.
Networking has been crucial to getting involved in nationals and international partnerships for learning and knowledge building.
